Hello... bonjour... chaps.. Remember them discs?? Got the floor holes filled in:  Then got a load more cut at 20mm round and with the aid of a step drill started going round the inner wings opening everything up to 20mm and plugging them all up:  Finally bit the bullet and took the lip RIGHT off the scuttle area too, the cage blocks off the std drain points so there was a risk of the scuttle becoming a bird bath:    Finally, the wishbone gusset things are all welded in:

Brace yaself... its a biggy... Spits out! (Just like your missus):  As always Robin Hunter was called in to move the shell with his covered trailer, and it was fitted up on the spit:  Then Zane and his 2 helper set to on the underside, my prep work saved him a lot of time (and me money) and after a bit of thinners and scotchbrite was applied the bay and underside was in the bay for a coat of etch and 2 coats of high build primer..   Monday should see fresh seam sealer thrown down then stonechip in the arches and a few litres of blue+laquer.. Happy times |

So... theres DEFINITELY a light at the end of the tunnel now....         And once they're given some attention, its etch and high build primer...     And after a 20minute drive.... She's home and ready for assembly

Ahhh ok... Thankyou for being able to speak English MUCH better than i can French!!!! Inside the chassis rails/cavities will be treated with a sealer, probably from the BiltHamber range as i have heard good things... Inside the arches/under the sills are all stonechipped under the paint the rest will remain as you see it... |

Evening all..... Just a quicky - been fixing the 307 and diagnosing a gearbox issue on my 172.. However!!! I unpacked the box of plating and anodising i got done over at peterborough plating - fantastic quality!!:  This meant i could start assembling the front corners.. however the dolly i'd made for the bodyshop was going to foul the wishbones... so, i made a new narrow track 1 for the front and threw that on:  Which, after a bit of dicking around gave me:   Now... all i need to do is locate the fecking AP bolts and i can fit the discs up too!!! |
